ValBlox celebrates public gaming identity. Every number needs evidence.

ValBlox Score v1: observed contributions

This is a proprietary, experimental platform metric, not an official Roblox metric, a global rarity percentile or a validated model of player worth. The 0–100 scale adds observed contributions using fixed thresholds. Missing factors stay unscored; remaining factors are never rescaled to 100. If every factor is unknown, the profile is unrated.

FactorMaximumRule
Legacy25Linear by elapsed days, capped at 20 × 365.2425 days.
Collectibles25log10(observed count + 1) / log10(1001), capped at 1.
Collection depth20log10(distinct observed assets + 1) / log10(5001), capped at 1.
Edition scarcity151 − log10(lowest known positive collectible supply) / 6, clamped to 0–1.
Observed value15log10(observed value + 1) / log10(1000001), capped at 1.

These thresholds are design choices, not statistics about the Roblox population. Each factor is rounded to one decimal; the sum is rounded to an integer. Tiers describe this score: New signal 0–19, Explorer 20–39, Collector 40–59, Standout 60–79, Icon 80–100.

Evidence weight is the sum of the maximum weights of available factors. It is not a statistical confidence percentage, and 100/100 does not prove complete inventory coverage. A partial scan can understate contributions. Rankings are ordered observed scores, not definitive comparisons of whole accounts.

Value: a priced subset

Observed Public Collection Value sums one lowest resale asking price per distinct observed owned collectible asset with an available price. Extra copies, unknown prices and noncollectible catalog purchases are excluded. Average value divides that sum by the number of priced distinct assets. Highest value item uses the same price concept. Zero is displayed only when the returned price is actually zero. Nothing here represents a guaranteed sale, total account value or cash value.

Rarity has a boundary

Edition scarcity uses positive API-reported total quantity. This is issued supply, not current owners, active owners or proof of exclusivity. “Rarest discovered” means the lowest known supply among this profile’s observed collectibles. When supply is missing, the result stays unconfirmed.

Inventory, outfit and time

Inventory breakdown percentages describe returned inventory rows. Collectibles are assigned first, then asset categories, so a row is counted once. Badges and game passes are separate where the inventory reports them. Currently worn items are evidence of outfit composition, not proof of ownership.

Legacy tiers use elapsed days: Old guard ≥15 years, Roblox veteran ≥10, Established ≥5, Next generation below 5. Years use 365.2425 days; the exact displayed age is complete elapsed UTC days at the scan. History snapshots retain their own dates and coverage. Differences can be caused by pagination, API availability or methodology, not solely by acquisitions.

Where the data comes from

We use official Roblox APIs, with Open Cloud inventory endpoints where available. Public profile, avatar, thumbnail, catalog, username history, badges and creator metadata are optional signals. Inventory pagination has a configurable server budget; exhausted budgets and UGC limitations remain visible as partial coverage.

Index, storage and refresh

Discovery and rankings include only successful scans stored by this ValBlox instance. No population-wide ranking is claimed. A fresh enriched scan is cached for ten minutes; an explicit refresh bypasses that cache, subject to a one-minute username cooldown. The single-process API permits two concurrent scans and eight starts per ten minutes. Shared production infrastructure will require a durable queue and rate-limit store.

Historical snapshots are saved locally and survive restarts. They include the source snapshot, score version, per-factor sources, coverage, observation time, evidence status and valuation method. API keys stay on the server. The base player-scan.v1 contract is validated before adding the separately versioned valblox-enrichment.v1 extension.
